Summer 2022 & 2023
Designed & taught class on policy memo writing for ESL & continuing education Master’s students at the UCSD School of Global Policy & Strategy. Students learned to translate complex policies and analyses into readable recommendations for different audiences. This included formulating a curriculum, planning & delivering 3-hour lectures, and providing writing feedback to 20+ students.
AY 2021-2023
Managed a team of four undergraduate research assistants to clean, merge, and analyze dataset of ~13,000 firms. Organized systems for task management, reviewed progress towards work objectives, and provided performance reviews & feedback to research assistants.
Fall 2023
Led a lab in which I instructed a class of 160 MPP & MIA students on core competencies in Microsoft Excel (such as workbook management, functions, pivot tables, and data visualization) and statistical analysis (including net present value calculations, probability theory, hypothesis testing, and linear regression).
Winter 2021-2023
Managed teams of 3-4 TAs, assisted with course & exam design, handled administrative duties, and led discussion & review sections for core class taught to 200+ MPP & MIA students (x3). Students learned fundamental concepts and models for policy analysis. Garnered a 100% “strong recommendation” response rate on student evaluations.
